Swarovski glittery baubles
Translucent granules, that is actually Swarovski powder, give each bauble a special gloss effect.
To make such baubles you will need:
- a napkin with Christmas motif
- polystyrene baubles
- glue for napkin technique
- light acrylic paint
- Swarovski powder in granules
The way to make it is very simple:
1 Paint the polystyrene bauble with
light matt acrylic paint. Choose the same shade as the one on the
napkin. Leave it to dry.
2 Cut out the motif from the napkin,
spread the glue for napkin technique and carefully glue the motif
on the bauble. When choosing the motif, choose a smaller one
since bigger ones get squashed on smaller baubles and will not
look good. Finally, polish the bauble.
3 Pour Swarovski powder on the
bauble, or even better roll it into it while the polish is still
wet.
