A flower-shaped brooch

Unique necklace or a nice gift for a dear friend!

Place a brooch on a leather or crocheted ribbon and you get an interesting unique necklace for yourself or a nice gift for a dear friend.

Material and tools:

- unspun wool
- a piece of thick sponge (or polysyrene) for base
- needles for felting
- moulds for small flower-shaped cookies

How to:

1 Place the mould onto the sponge and then place 3 - 4 layers of wool (you can also use different shades of wool) over it. Place horizontally the first layers of wool, the second should be vertical, thus alternating every second row.

2 With a needle for felting press lightly the wool into the mould until it is tightly packed. Shape a flower.

3 Take the flower out of the mould when it's felted and with the needle shape the petals.

4 When the flower is done sew a brooch clasp at the back, add stamen made of a felt and add some beads.
