Anemone made of crepe paper is an excellent spring table decoration.

Anemone made of crepe paper is an excellent spring table decoration, or an effective decoration on a gift wrapped with crepe paper.

Prepare:

- crepe paper in yellow, orange or dark green shades
- soft chenille wire in yellow shade
- moss
- florist ribbon
- thin florist wire
- florist sponge

1 To make a flower, cut out ribbons 2 x 5 cm from crepe paper. Round the tops. Use soft wire to make pistil and stem and shape the end of the wire into a spring.

2 Place petals, one by one, around the pistil. Fasten them with florist wire.

3 Cut out green crepe paper for sepal 7 x 5 cm. Cut the tops as shown in the picture and then wrap it around the petals. Fasten with the wire.

4 Wrap the florist ribbon first around the sepals and then the stem. Fix it with the glue at the bottom.

5 Use your fingers to stretch carefully the crepe paper at the bottom of the petals. Do the same with sepals.

6 Make the buds out of crepe paper cut into triangles and then wrap them around the soft wire.

7 Add sepals to the buds and wrap with florist wire.

8 Put florist sponge in a pot, cover with moss and arrange the flowers.
