Description
This is the lightest georgette fabric. Georgette 08 has a matt silk shimmer and the typical moss like look. It is half transparent, falls very softly and shows - like all silk crepes - only a minor creasing tendency. That is why georgette is a preferred material for silk shawls and scarves as well as a popular blouse fabric. Colors flow well on georgette and are expressed in a luscious way. All dye and silk painting techniques can be used.
