Materials and tools:

- oval frame (cardboard or wooden)
- FIMO or SCULPEY black and white shades
- FIMO or SCULPEY shiny polish
- a napkin with ornaments
- glue for napkin technique
- a black and white photocopy of an old photograph

1 Paint the frame with white acrylic paint. Leave it to dry.

2 Place the napkin on the table, cover the front side of the frame with the glue for napkin technique and carefully place it on the napkin taking care of the verticals.

3 Cut off the extra of the napkin leaving about 5mm to be folded over the sides. Using brush and glue go over the napkin once more getting rid of the irregularities or air bubbles.

4 Roll out thin sheets of black and white FIMO. Cut out two elypses for the medallion from cardboard. One should be a milimeter smaller than the other. Place them on FIMO sheets and then cut them out. Place the white oval on the black one.

5 Place the photocopy face down on the medallion. Sprinkle it with water.

6 Rub lightly with finger the backside of the picture, the wet paper gets removed gradually while the picture remains on the medallion

The paper being removed altogether, put it in preheated oven at 110°C, bake for half an hour. When the medallion cools, polish it with FIMO or SCULPEY varnish. Glue it in the middle of the frame.
