Christmas bells

Napkin technique is ideal for Christmas decoration from baubles to jars.

Jars are not necessarily only a container for Christmas star - to make a nice mobile we suggest a few jars in shape of bell placed on a decorative garland. Hang 4 jars on the wreath above the Christmas table and you will get an Advent decoration in the northern style.

Tools:

- 1 bigger jar bell-shaped (with a little hole);
- 3 smaller bell-shaped jars (9 cm with a hole);
- a napkin with a nice Christmas motif;
- glue for napkin technique;
- a decorative garland with gold stars;
- Decorlack in vanilla shade.

1 Paint the terracotta jars (pots) with Decorlack in vanilla shade (or mix white with a few drops of yellow). Paint the inside of the jar as well. Leave it to dry.

2 Separate the white layers of the napkin and cut out the motif that fits the jar.

3 Spread the glue for napkin technique on the jar and carefully place the motif.

4 Thread about 50 cm of the decorative ribbon with leaves through the biggest jar. Tie a knot at the place where you want to have the top jar.

5 Tie two more ribbons around that knot through which you will thread other jars. Use a knot to mark their height as well. Place the jars next to each other so they touch, if you want them to tinkle. Enjoy the festive season.
