Mini mosaic on baubles

Make your own baubles for the tree using mini mosaic and acrylic plates.

You need:
- mini mosaic plates in shades of your choice
- glass or acrylic plates
- grout mass
- polystyrene baubles
- glue for polystyrene
- silver-plated wire 1 mm or less

1 Glue the plates onto polystyrene bauble. Start from the middle up, finishing with the smallest mosaic. Leave it to dry.
2 Prepare the grout mass with little water and than spread it over the plates filling up the joints.

3 Wipe with wet sponge as soon as the mix is little dry.
4 Finally, thread a wire through the whole bauble and at the ends make little loops for ribbons or leave a hook.

These baubles are effective indeed, they are like little disco baubles, but bear in mind that they are pretty heavy due to plates and grout mass! You may find the making easier if instead of grout mass you use the modelling paste. While it is still wet press the plates or glass bits into it.
