Burlap flower

Make your own burlap roses and put them in a vase or decorate jars.

You will need:

burlap ribbon, lace, glue, jars.

To make one rose 8 cm in diameter you will need about 80 cm of burlap ribbon.

Instructions:

1 Fold the ribbon in half. Drop little glue onto the edge of the ribbon and wrap it a few times to make the inside of a rose.

2 Unfold the ribbon. Take the upper edge and fold it towards outside at a right angle. This is how you get a petal. With the other hand wrap it and tighten the bottom end. After each wrap add a drop of glue to fasten the bottom end of the flower.

3 Wrap and fold the upper edge towards outside until you reach the end of the ribbon. Glue the end of the ribbon to the bottom of the rose.

4 Pin the flowers onto wooden sticks so they fit a vase.

5 Decorate the jar with burlap leftovers or lace.

6 Make flowers in different shades.
